Rhetson Companies, Inc., is a residential and commercial real estate development and construction company. The company was founded in 2003 and is based in West End, North Carolina. Owned by Brian and Julianne Clodfelter, the company is named after their two sons, Rhett and Mason. They later welcomed their daughter, Libby, to their family. They started building a few residential homes a year and in the eighteen years since its humble beginnings, Rhetson has added hundreds of projects to its portfolio along the East Coast.

Rhetson Companies specializes in single-tenant NNN lease retail, building high-end residential homes, development and construction. Rhetson Companies has been a preferred developer for Dollar General since 2009 and has built over 200 stores in Virginia and North Carolina. Rhetson has also developed and built for PetSuites, Advance Auto, Brixx, Sherwin Williams, Dunkin’, and Camp Bow Wow, covering over 2,000,000 square feet of real estate. Rhetson credits this adaptability and incredible growth to the valuable relationships it has fostered over the years with its partners and team members. The Rhetson name has become known for the company’s focus on unwavering excellence and integrity, commitment to quality, and steadfast family values.
